About Adrian W.
Adrian Wilson graduated from WAAPA with an Advanced Diploma in Music Production. He is a Perth-based singer-songwriter who has continued to impress audiences across the country with his unique voice and catchy folk and acoustic pop songs. Although he initially intended a career as a producer and mixing engineer, songwriting and performing live came naturally.
With the release of his first EP, A New Direction, Adrian set out to find like-minded musicians to perform with him live. After recruiting four new bandmates and feeling a noticeable spark between them, his band Beside Lights was born, putting his solo career on hold.
Following an appearance on Australia's Got Talent and reaching the finals, their first self-titled EP went straight to #1 on the iTunes rock charts, and they were invited to support acts including The Vines, Adam Brand, Flight Facilities and 1927.
The band later decided to pursue different paths, and Adrian continued as a solo artist, putting focus on his YouTube channel, which has surpassed 3.3 million views. Releases since have included the singles Home and Soldier Heart, as well as a five-track EP titled Half Heart.
