About David Lazarus.
Combining a heart-warming voice and a captivating stage presence, South African born and Australian grown singer-songwriter David Lazarus is one of Perth's most exciting acoustic artists. He has toured all over the world - from Europe to Asia to Africa - taking thousands of people on a unique, engaging and moving musical journey, with an extremely rare ability to create pin-drop silence only to have the whole room dancing on tables moments later.
As a songwriter, David's acoustic/folk-pop tunes are filled with heartfelt stories of personal endeavours - much of his music inspired by his family (in particular his five sisters), relationships and life on the road. As a cover artist he applies that same one-man-band style to every song he plays: in a standard set you'll hear anything from Jack Johnson to Drake to Disney. He has supported the likes of Joshua Radin and Ingrid Michaelson on tour.
