About Mat.
DJ Mat's love for music extends from the 60s to today. He started his DJ career in local radio and community blue light discos, and things have come a long way since. He has been DJing for almost 20 years and loves to bring the party.
The DJ is the producer of an event, bringing together vendors, venues and guests. To Mat the music is the focal point, from cocktail canape music to sitting down for dinner and rocking the dance floor later in the night. It's just as important to see people singing and dancing in their seats as it is jamming on the dance floor later. His music range is expansive, and any track with a catchy hook is sure to be on his playlist. Personally he loves anything 80s in the blend. He has impeccable MC skills, learnt through years on live radio.
On the night, Mat uses his experience to help train others to be effective users of the mic. He strives to make each event as personal and as awesome as the last. Adapting to the latest trends in equipment and lighting keeps Mat at the cutting edge of DJ hosting.
