About Matteo.
Matteo is based in Perth, Western Australia. He began mixing music only a few years ago and now plays at weddings, school balls and work events across Western Australia.
What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a career, as Matteo dedicated countless hours to perfecting his craft, honing his skills, and building his collection of music. His commitment to delivering quality entertainment laid the foundation for the business, and from there his passion to create personalised experiences for guests has taken off.
Matteo has always loved working with people. Coming from a background in hospitality and the legal profession, he never shies away from doing all he can to make his clients feel at ease. He understands that events can be daunting to prepare and plan for, which is why he is there to help with the process too.
He has run DJ events in Whistler, Canada, where he had the opportunity to learn more about the nightclub scene while playing alongside DJs from all over the world. That experience allowed him to develop a new style of DJing which he brought back to Perth. Today, Matteo continues across WA including some of Perth's most recognisable venues - Optus Stadium among them - as well as schools, businesses and not-for-profits.
Matteo prides himself on remaining client focused and professional, adjusting his playlists to suit each event. He knows how to read the room, which is why the dance floor stays the place to be all night. He has collected an extensive list of classics ranging from 70s disco, 80s pop, rock and singalongs, 90s R&B and dance, through to modern pop, R&B, house, rap and drum and bass.
