About Russ.
Music has been in Russ's DNA from the very beginning. Raised on the sounds of Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and Prince, his style is deeply rooted in soul and Motown - influences that still shape his sound today.
A standout contestant on The Voice, Russ is known for his rich, expressive vocals, whether delivering a heartfelt ballad or driving high-energy R&B. A true multi-instrumentalist, he's equally at home on drums or guitar and is a regular presence on Brisbane's live music scene.
A co-founder of Brisbane's Tuesday night R&B Jam, Russ has performed with international artists, opened for Beyoncé's Australian tour, and sang the New Zealand national anthem at the ANZAC Test at Suncorp Stadium. In high demand for corporate events, weddings and private functions, Russ is known for matching the vibe, from laid-back ambience to full party mode.
